How do I make a purchase?
Simply click add to basket on whichever product you want to buy. You can view and amend your basket by clicking on “view cart”. To complete your purchase, click on “checkout”. On the checkout page complete your details and make sure that you click the box to confirm that you accept our terms and conditions. Finally, click on the “Proceed to Paypal” button to make your payment.
If you get an error message, try clearing your basket and trying again. If you continue to have problems please use the contact form to let us know and if need be we can arrange to take a debit/credit card payment over the phone.
Do I have to have a Paypal account to make a purchase?
No you don’t. All payments are handled securely by Paypal and you can either pay by through a Paypal account or by using a debit or credit card. To pay with a debit or credit card on the Paypal page simply click on the “Checkout as Guest” button which will allow you to enter your details.
Are your stitching kits suitable for all levels of expertise?
Yes. All of our kits use a running stitch or a variation of running stitch. The most important thing to remember is consistency of stitch rather than size.
What happens if I run out of thread for my kit?
All of kits are extensively tested. However, there are inevitably some instances where people run out of thread. Simply contact us and we will post out more thread free of charge.
How do I transfer the pattern onto my fabric ready for stitching?
There are a huge variety of marking pens on the market today. There are pens that are air erasable, water soluble and heat erasable. A good old HB pencil can also be washed out. Before transferring any pattern you need to test your marking pen on the very edge of the cotton fabric to make sure that the mark can be removed. Transferring a pattern onto white cotton is very easy to do as once the white cotton is placed on top of the pattern you can see the black lines through it. If you are using a kit with a grey or blue fabric you might find that you need to hold it up against a window or use a light box.
How Do I Get My Newsletter Subscriber Discount?
