Dragonfly Mini Kantha Kit

Description

Kantha is a relaxing hand stitching technique that originated in India. A running stitch was used to create representational and abstract images. This kit contains a full size pattern of a beautiful dragonfly which is mainly stitched in a stunning variegated perlé 12 thread onto a white background.

The pattern needs to be traced onto the white fabric first and then two layers of cotton muslin is provided to place under the design. These layers are then tacked together before starting the kantha stitching. There are full written instructions and illustrated stitch diagrams.
