Description
Joy Hare has been designed to celebrate ten years of Angela’s teaching and designing of kantha kits. This kit combines a hare and harebells. These flowers are symbolic of constancy and everlasting love in Scotland. Shakespeare talked about the azures hare-bell in his play Cymbeline over four hundred years ago. I have called this kit “Joy” to reflect how I feel about stitching kantha, sitting quietly and moving my needle and thread softly and slowly through the fabric.

Complete stitched size – 28cm x 28cm
Contains:
Fat quarter of navy cotton fabric, half a metre of cotton muslin, perlé 12 thread, embroidery needle, full size pattern (over two sheets of A4 paper), written instructions and stitch diagrams
You will need:
- Fabric marking pen suitable for dark fabric
- Tacking thread
- Light box or window
